On the afternoon of August 30, 2019, the alumni of the Wuhan Textile University presented a spectacular feast to the people at the Guangzhou Friendship Exhibition Center, Liuhua exhibition and Trade Center, the tribute to alma mater 60th anniversary. This is a joint show that combines Chinese fashion academy design with modern high-tech, big data and so on. It is also the first time that a team of martial arts and Tai Wan District alumni has joined hands in the fashion show of Guangdong fashion week. This is also a fashion show for Chinese fashion and international fashion. The whole Guangdong fashion and even Chinese fashion are all vibrant.

This is a late release show. 2018, coincided with the establishment of Wuhan Textile University 60th anniversary. Wuhan textile and Wuhan Textile University came into being in the voice of revitalizing national light industry in New China. Her predecessor was Wuhan Textile Institute founded in 1958, and was renamed Wuhan University of Science and Engineering in 1999. The Hubei provincial foreign trade school and Hubei College of Finance and Economics were incorporated into the Wuhan Textile University in 2010. Adhering to the motto of "truing the true and the beautiful", the school carries forward the spirit of "self-improvement and great aspiration", persists in the development of characteristics, implements open education, and actively serves the textile industry and local economic and social development. After sixty years, it has become a common institution of higher learning with the coordinated development of disciplines, industry, culture, economics, management, arts and other disciplines, distinctive features and prominent advantages. It is the national "Midwest university basic capacity building project", the construction of universities and the Ministry of education "excellent engineer education and training plan" to implement the ten major fashion Colleges and universities nationwide. Tall models, exquisite professionality, from yarn design to yarn dyeing and finishing, weaving and weaving, clothing design, clothing marketing and even modeling specialty, make Wuhan Textile University become the dream birthplace of numerous fashionable and fashionable students. From 1958 to 2019, in the past 60 years, Wu textile has trained and transported numerous talents for the textile and garment industry.

The conference was launched by Wu textile student, now vice president and Secretary General of Guangdong clothing and apparel industry association, Huang Yiqun. With the support of the Provincial Association and the provincial Designers Association, through the collective planning of nearly more than 20 thousand alumni in the big bay area, 30 famous designers joined together to create a joint show that salutes their alma mater 60th anniversary with 60 sets of costumes. Under the keen care of all the leaders and the positive efforts of our alumni, we established the Wuhan Textile University Alumni Association and the Guangdong clothing branch respectively.

At the press conference, Li Guoyong, director of the Wuhan Textile University Alumni Affairs Office, announced that the Wuhan Textile University Alumni Association College of clothing was formally established and the first member of the sub committee was read. Among them, the honorary chairman was held by Bu Xiaoqiang, Xiong Zhaofei was the president and Huang Yiqun was the executive director.

The conference received strong support from five brands such as Ruijian logo, green Jian Ling Ling, five feng LED, Wei Cai Ying Yin, and Zhongshan Qi Cheng display products Co., Ltd. from the Guangdong clothing brand display and Exhibition alliance. The joint show has two characteristics: jeans and dresses. Cowboy is a relatively new discipline in China. It may have a history of over 100 years in Europe, but it has only arisen in China in the last twenty or thirty years. It is not just a dress or a pair of trousers, but also its exquisite workmanship, that is, water washing technology. The current trend is to pursue the artistic sense of destroying the craft. We need to deal with the corresponding technology of warp and weft respectively. Only with perfect technology can we create a good sense of rags. This technology is a challenge to the clothing industry, and this is exactly the specialty of Wuhan textile college alumni who graduated from dyeing and weaving art.

In addition, the dress is also a major feature of Wu Pu students' collective work show. They use professional design and fashion as the carrier to depict life. In their design, they have boldly tried the combination of Chinese and Western styles, bringing different audiences' visual impact to the audience and enjoying different Oriental beauty.
