US Steel Survey

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) issued a notice in January 18th (2012) to Vietnam steel.

Coat hanger

We launched an investigation into anti-dumping (AD) and subsidies (CVD) (Note: the United States also launched anti-dumping investigations on the production of steel coat hangers in Taiwan). The customs tax numbers of the hangers in this case were 7236.20.0020 and 7323.99.9080.

The plaintiff in this case is

U.S.A

M&B Metal Products Co.; Innovative Fabrication LLC/Indy Hanger; US Hanger Co. LLC.

The application period for the anti-dumping of hangers was from April 1st to September 30th last year, and the application period of countervailing was from January 1st to December 31st last year.

The United States accuses the clothes rack of countervailing factors, including the preferential financing provided by the Vietnamese government to the exporters, giving preferential treatment to the foreign and Exported enterprises to provide land rent relief, offering preferential treatment to the manufacturers who are stationed in the industrial area or encouraging the industry, providing water prices below the general market for the manufacturers in the industrial area, and offering Wire Rod below the general market price.

For export

Promotion of preferential policies; foreign-funded enterprises and enterprises stationed in industrial areas enjoy preferential tax on enterprise tax; refinancing tax rebates for foreign-funded enterprises; preferential treatment to encourage industrial projects to provide goods exempt from import duties; exemption from import tariffs for raw materials for export production; tariff free preferential treatment for imported goods from foreign enterprises, covering imported goods for industrial raw materials and enterprises' fixed assets.

The dumping case will be calculated by comparing India with the similar products produced in the world.
